“Two-surface” refers to two surfaces of the same tooth. It does not automatically mean two teeth or two separate fillings.
What belongs to the filling?

- The fillings chapter covers the usual steps around preparing, filling, keeping dry, finishing and polishing.
What can be shown separately?
- A rubber dam appears separately only when C022 was used under its combination rule.
- Anaesthesia or an X-ray have their own codes and are therefore not hidden inside V92.
Useful when reading an invoice
- Check whether the number of V92 lines matches the teeth or fillings named in the plan.
- Ask for a short explanation if “surfaces” appears on an invoice without context.
