X10Small dental X‑ray: taking and assessment

Official Dutch titleMaken en beoordelen kleine röntgenfoto

Taking and assessing one small dental X-ray image.

In plain language

X10 shows one small X-ray image and its assessment.

This code applies per small X-ray image. If X10 appears twice on an overview, it refers to two separate images — not one unclear total.

What does the line mean?

  • Taking and assessing one small X-ray image.
  • The quantity on an invoice shows how many small images were registered.

What does it not state by itself?

  • An X10 line names the image; it does not by itself describe a conclusion or next treatment.
  • An image and a treatment are separate parts of an overview and can therefore appear as separate lines.

Useful when reading an invoice

  • Compare the number of X10 lines with the images mentioned in the conversation or plan.
  • If an overview is unclear, ask the practice to show the image and its context next to each other.
